Best For: Flatbreads & Fantasy

Location

Nestled within the wonder and whimsy of Fantasyland lies Pinocchio Village Haus, a charming casual eatery open for lunch and dinner at the Magic Kingdom. Always attracting hungry guests fresh from a flight to Neverland or a sail around a “small world,” this popular eatery could be described as a classic staple to any Magic Kingdom visit.

Inspired by a quaint Italian cottage on the outside, with pretty wooden beams and cute flower boxes, there’s a surprising amount of space in this large dining hall, inspired by Disney’s Pinocchio. Think swinging chandeliers, stone arches, plus lots, and I mean lots, of wood.

However, this restaurant is far from being dark, as so much color and whimsy is brought by countless murals painted on every wall in the place. Each depicting vibrant scenes and characters from Pinocchio, you’ll be reminded of the classic 1940 movie at every turn.

In terms of seating, there’s plenty of tables to be found both inside and outside this restaurant. Inside, there’s two floors of tables of all different sizes, perfect for when you’ve got larger parties hoping to sit together. Outside, guests will be pleased to see that the tables are all covered by colorful umbrellas, providing some much-needed shade for your al-fresco Fantasyland dining experience.

Intriguingly, there’s a couple of particularly sweet features that insiders will tell you about Pinocchio Village Haus. First, the restaurant actually shares a border with the “it’s a small world” ride, and a few seats in the upstairs dining hall directly overlook the attraction’s queue area. There are few views quite as magical as watching your fellow guests start their journey on “The Happiest Cruise to Ever Set Sail”, right?

The next special secret to this restaurant is that it houses the fabled Blue Fairy Wish Book. If you find it, guests can write down their own personal hopes and wishes inside, and the Blue Fairy herself will do everything in her magic to help them come true. Who knows what kinds of dreams have come true because of this book?

Menu

Pinocchio Village Haus doesn’t have the most elaborate menu, but if you’re looking for basic, filling, vaguely Italian-inspired, American lunchtime grub, this is always going to hit the mark.

The specialty item here at Pinocchio’s is the Flatbreads. A great alternative to pizza, these tasty breads are filling and satisfying, with toppings including pepperoni, sausage, or cheese. Be sure to keep an eye out for seasonal topping options too, often switched out on the menu.

If flatbreads aren’t quite your thing, we’d probably advise you eat elsewhere, although basic options such as Chicken Strips or Salads are still available here. Alternatively, if you’re following a plant-based diet, a Plant-Based “Cheese” Pizza would be the dish for you.

Want something on the side? Sure, you’ve got the classic French Fries or Side Salad options, however the favorite you really need to know about here are the Breadsticks. A garlicky breadstick served with house Marinara sauce, this is a unique treat we’d enjoy as a side, or on its own!

If you’ve still got room for something sweet, the dessert menu is also worth checking out here. Seasonal treats will regularly be available, offering flavors of different special events or celebrations at Disney, so do keep an eye out to see what’s on the menu next time you’re visiting.

To Drink

There’s no bar here, but the wide range of assorted fountain beverages, fruit juices, and even slushys will make sure you’ll never be thirsty at Pinocchio’s.

Hot tea, cocoa, and milk are also available if you’re so inclined. Coffee lovers will also be pleased, as this venue offers park-favorite Joffrey’s blends!

Kid-Friendly Options

A very kid-friendly dining location, this quick-serve spot offers a varied selection of “Kid’s Disney Check Meals” sure to suit any little eater.

Both Flatbreads and Chicken Strips are available off the children’s menu for those aged nine or below, served with a choice of two sides, and milk or water to drink. Alternatively, lunchtime “Kid’s Packs” can also be ordered, including basic sandwiches with fruits and veggies for snacking.

Special Dietary Requirements

We’re happy to report that Pinocchio Village Haus is a consistent hit when it comes to suitability for guests with various dietary requirements and restrictions. Most of the main menu items here can be substituted to meet allergy needs including gluten, egg, soy, fish, nuts, and dairy, with guests advised to speak to a Cast Member before placing their order.

Tips and Need-To-Know Information

Mobile Order is accepted at this dining location, which is a great option for when you’re pressed for time at the Magic Kingdom. If you’ve pre-ordered for collection, be sure to follow the relevant signs once you arrive at the restaurant.

As a fast-casual spot in a popular part of the park, Pinocchio Village Haus can get very busy during peak hours of the day. Seating is plentiful both inside and out, but be prepared to potentially wait or share a table if you’re dining at a busy time. If you’re happy to eat outside of those peak times, you’re more likely to secure the table you were hoping for!
