Every UK town boasts a pub – a delightful eatery with classic British grub and friendly servers who treat everyone like family. The atmosphere is cozy and familiar, where everyone feels instantly at home, knowing they’ll be well-fed and welcomed back every time.
So, it’s only right that the UK Pavilion in the World Showcase at EPCOT has a pub, and that’s the Rose & Crown. Situated right on the main track through the pavilion, this traditional British eatery is a must-visit for those looking to experience true UK hospitality, good food, and a warm welcome!
There are two parts to the Rose & Crown, a pub, and a dining room. Open for dinner service, the dining room serves up classic “pub grub” – comforting nosh that’s sure to warm the cockles and leave you feeling full, happy, and content!
Menu
The menu at the Rose & Crown looks just like what you’d find at any good British village pub! No matter your tastes, you’re bound to find something on the board to fill you up as you enjoy your day at EPCOT.
One of the absolute classics at the Rose & Crown is a good, old-fashioned, portion of Fish and Chips. That’s battered fish and chunky chips, that go great with a scoop of mushy peas on the side! Another favorite is the Bangers and Mash – that’s thick English sausage served with mashed-up potatoes, all drizzled in a tasty mushroom, onion, and red wine gravy.
Depending on the time of year, you’ll often find there’ll be options such as a curry, a hotpot, a pie, a burger, or other dishes rotating on the menu, with sides including Bubble and Squeak to go with them.
Those are the entrees, but we should give a shout-out to the appetizers at the Rose & Crown, too. A particularly fun treat featured on this menu is the Scotch Egg, which is a hard-boiled egg wrapped in sausage meat. You can’t go wrong with pub grub like this!
For dessert, you simply must remember to leave room for a good old English “pudding!” From the menu, guests can select from sweets such as a classic English Trifle – that’s layers of strawberries, custard, and cream – or a delicious Sticky Toffee Pudding. Sweet, British comfort food at its finest!
To Drink
You can’t go for a pub lunch without expecting there to be a fantastic selection of drinks on the menu, too! The Rose & Crown doesn’t disappoint, with a huge range of British pub blends and more to sample.
There’s also ales, lagers, stouts, scotches, and even an Irish Whiskey Flight to try. Cocktails such as the Welsh Dragon and the Leaping Leprechaun can also be found here, as well as a good range of wines.
If you’d prefer a non-alcoholic drink, you can of course find Twinings hot tea, alongside an assortment of soft beverages.
Kid-Friendly Options
Like any good British pub, the Rose & Crown has plenty on the menu to satisfy younger diners. As well as easy favorites such as pasta and chicken dishes, the pavilion’s specialties such as Fish and Chips or Bangers are also available in child-friendly portions, with a range of sides to choose from.
